The Oxfordshire women's team, without many of their big guns from previous years, went down 9-0 to Devon in Group 3 at Worthing on Tuesday It was their second 9-0 whitewash in two days, but with virtually a new and much younger line-up, the result was not unexpected.
And this time they managed to take a set off the opposition, thanks to first pair Mandy Nall and Lindsey Ackland.
Oxon face Yorkshire today.

Oxfordshire's men, buoyed by Monday's win over Isle of Man, put up a great fight against the Channel islands before going down 5-4 in Group 7 at Beckenham.
First pair Jon Maskens and Christian Petersen won two of their three matches, but second pair Oliver Neighbour and Jack Rooney struggled, losing all three.
Third pair Ian MacDonald and Jay Sexton almost pulled off victory after winning their first two matches.
They beat the islanders' first and third pairs and were a set up against their second pair, but lost the second on a tie break and went down 6-2 in the decider.
Tom Greenland returns for today's game against Wiltshire.
