Two held in Rose Hill murder inquiry

TWO people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Afghan Enayit Khalili in Oxford last year.
At about 3.30am on March 24, 2007, Mr Khalili, 26, was found severely injured at his home in Fiennes Road, Rose Hill. He died that evening from a single stab wound to the stomach.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said a 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and a woman in her early sixties has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They both remain in custody.
A £25,000 reward - increased from £5,000 - was offered for information leading to the capture of the murderer.
Mr Khalili came to Britain in 2001 seeking asylum. He late received permanent leave to remain in the country In the months before he was murdered, and worked as a cleaner a Cowley police station.
